Furnewal was founded from a passion for creating furniture that combines lasting quality with timeless design. Based in Sussex, we design and build solid oak bathroom vanity units using sustainably sourced and reclaimed British and European oak.

Each piece is handcrafted in our workshop using traditional joinery techniques and carefully selected timber chosen for its strength, character, and longevity. Our goal is to create furniture that not only serves its purpose beautifully but continues to improve with age.

We take inspiration from vintage and traditional furniture, focusing on proportions, durability, and practical storage. Every vanity unit is made to order, allowing us to maintain complete control over quality while ensuring each piece meets the needs of the customer and their space.

Unlike mass-produced alternatives, Furnewal vanity units are built from genuine solid oak rather than composite materials. This results in furniture that can be repaired, refinished, and used for decades, rather than years.

Sustainability is central to how we work. By using reclaimed and responsibly sourced timber and building products designed for long-term use, we aim to minimise environmental impact while creating furniture that becomes a permanent part of the home.
